birchbox unboxing

The first product I took from my box was the nail polish! Révérence de Bastien in a bright pillar box red!
Révérence de Bastien

I thought the bottle looked a little like the Wet n Wild polishes for manicures. very basic.
So I then got my nail wheel and swatched the polish to see the result. I was pleasantly surprised how well the formula was not to thick or thin.
However on the same wheel I noticed how very similar in shade the polish was to that of 2True Pro Salon Shine Nail Polish in Jessie
Dupe! 2True Pro Salon Shine Nail Polish in Jessie

I recently reviewed! I found a dupe! lol The 2True is better a quality than the Reverence red polish and at a better price of only £4 at Superdrug.

Next is a yummy treat Green & Black’s White Chocolate Bar!
yummy choc

The recipe for the white bar cocoa butter and organic whole milk with Madagascan vanilla.
I only have one issue with this bar it was to small lol but on a positive note its always nice to get some chocolate in a box although I love chocolate lol I usually stick to my favourite brand such as Cadbury's or Nestle.
Now for something else that I love! Bioderma Sensibio H20.
Bioderma Sensibio H20.

This cute little sample bottle is a must to try! omg it is a bottle of magic for removing eye make up and dirt.I used 2 cotton pads dabbed alittle of this magic onto it then placed over my eyes took all my eye make up off in one go! I highly recommend this to anyone.I am going to be buying a bigger bottle.

Next up is ModelCo Party Proof Lipstick!

This is a hydrating, semi-matte lip colour that felt nice on the lips.I liked the shade natural look.the shade Kitty, a soft baby pink which suited me well I thought.I would like to try the other shades as this is great for a night out to pop in your purse.

Now for a little pampering :) Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Nourishing Body Lotion
This smelt so good on the skin.I like the texture not to thin and worked well into the skin and made my skin feel super soft.
So that's my Septembers box all done! thanks for reading and stopping by:)
I hope you have a great weekend! more posts coming up!
Tat ta for now :)

Sassy's Nails

Hi Everyone.I hope you all doing good and keeping warm.as its getting more chillier here in the UK.

I want to share this special post with you on this special day which is dedicated to my beloved Pet and forever friend My Cat Sassy.

sadly she passed away 2 year's ago today and lost her battle with cancer in her breast.
Sassy was 11 year's old when she died and she was part of our family for 8 wonderful year's.

Sassy was my baby we had such a close lovely bond and  cuddled a lot every day.
She was such a character she wouldn't drink out of a bowl had to be her own small tumbler glass!
Sassy would be like a female Garfield and never go out the cul de sac!(our street)she was happy to be the Queen over the other cats in the street and roam around when she pleased.
She loved her biccies and cat milk.and her belly rubs from my husband, her play time with my daughter, but most of all she loved her cuddle time with me :) as I cherished every cuddled with her.
So I thought I would do a Nail art mani in memory of Sassy as I named my blog after her (I guess you figured that out by now) and thought what a lovely way to remember her though dedicating this cute nail art to her.
I hope you like them!
Here is the products I used for this mani.
On the left is a base coat by Wet n Wild. Next to that is a pastel pink polish by W7 in Baby Pink. Then W7 glittery polish in Pink Pearl.A nail art thin brush and 2 tubes of Artist Acrylic paint one White one Black.

Ifirst started with a base coat then once dry I made a tip using the W7 Baby Pink. Then when dry I went over the Baby Pink with W7 Pink Pearl over each nail tip..
I then took a small squeeze of white and black Acrylic paint onto a tray. Then I used my brush and made some paws.
I then took some more acrylic paint and started making a body shape for Sassy the cat and on the back of her neck she had white furr so I used some white for that.made a head shape with ears and did a tail.oh.. I forgot I also stuck 3 heart stickers on the thumbs for love <3
Did the same for the other thumb.
Made the same paw prints on the other hand.
And then finished with a top coat from MUA.

ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬♥▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬♥ There is not a day in life when I wish I could bring you down from Heaven...and spend the day with you just one more time, give you one more hug, kiss your little head goodbye hear your meow again. One more chance to say I Love you. Always in my memories and in my heart.  In remembrance of Sassy you will never be forgotten! ●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬♥▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ

I was looking through some of my polishes in my collection and I took the Matt polish out and thought..oooh a nice black matt mani with bows and flowers is a good place to start!
Here is a list of the products used for this mani.

Lil-black-dress--manicure6
From left to right....wet n Wild Base coat. Technic polish in Jet black. Born Pretty super matt surface oil polish. Laval crystal finish polish in Glitter Dazzle. Gold by Giles glitter no P51905

Lil-black-dress--manicure
sorry its alil blurry

I started with the base coat.then applied the Jet black polish.after waiting for it to dry fully
I then applied the super matt surface polish to the thumbs and all the fingers (except the finger with the 3D flower on.)
squint your eyes tightly you might see it better lol
I then began to use a small nail art brush with the black polish and made some tiger print lines across the nail.while using the brush I then did some lines on the little finger.
oooh sparkly!
The thumbs was fun to do.I started with a glitter polish (I forgot to add in photo oops)The polish is by 2True Pro Sequins Nail Polish in Eva.I placed this glitter on the top half of the nail carefully making a zig zag then I used the Gold by Giles glitter on the tips.
I waited for them to dry then I went over the zig zag lines with my nail art brush using the black polish to make it neat.then I simply glued on the 3D bow and all done!
super sparkly!

The finished look! I hope you like this Lil black dress mani.
Please don't forget to follow me if you haven't already I really appreciate each and everyone of you.<3

2 TRUE REVIEWS

Hello all my lovelies!
Hope you all well and good.

I recently contacted the 2 True cosmetics  to request some product samples for me to review on my blog,To my surprise I received a lovely email back the very same day from the PR company,A lovely girl named Laura offered to send me some products to review on my blog.
I was happy that Laura was very professional and polite and kind.
I quickly replied and was thrilled at the kind offer so I gladly accepted!

The very next day I received my parcel in the post!
With pure excitement I opened the parcel to find some pretty nail polishes including 2 lovely 2 true sparkles nail glitter and 2True Pro 3D Candy Nail Art.

I was really eager to paint my own nails for this review but I will say my cuticles arent in the best shape at the moment but I am getting more use to repairing/treating my nails.
so before I painted my nails each time I used a base coat by Wet and Wild also for the fact each bottle from 2 Tue states "apply a base coat to avoid staining".

The first polish I tried was 2True Pro Sequins Nail Polish in Tyra.
My first thought was how the size was pretty big and it was designed well.
The colour is a fabulous sparkly gold with speckles of silver.
I found the formula very good not clumpy and easy to apply. It dries pretty quick which is good if you glamouring your nails for a party/night out on the town!
The quality is very good I was impressed.
With this look I sprinkled some 2True Pro Sparkles Glitter Nail Polish in Danni

on a accent nail for extra glam glitz sparkle!
Its best to use a small bowl or container to sprinkle the glitter over the nail while it is still wet with a base colour polish. Then simply tidy around the nail, use a top coat if desired and you're good to go party!
2True Pro Sequins Nail Polish. 2True Pro Sparkles Nail Glitter

Next I used the 2true Pro Salon Shine Nail Polish in tangerine Mila.
What a vibrant orange colour! This was so easy to apply and the formula was a good consistency I found using one coat would have been good enough but I wanted to try 2 coats for a full effect.
The polish dries quick and has a great extra glossy shine so no need for a top coat unless desired.
I really like this Pro Shine collection and I must take a trip to superdrug to try the other colours soon!
2True Pro Sparkles Glitter Nail Polish in Kimberley. This went on an accent nail,I think it goes well with the orange.
This is a Aqua super sparkly Blue! I love it!
I used a small bowl or container to sprinkle the glitter over the nail while it is still wet with a base colour polish. Then simply tidy around the nail, use a top coat if desired.

2true Pro Salon Shine Nail Polish
2True Pro Sparkles nail Glitter

Next is 2true Pro Salon Shine Nail Polish in Jessie.
This is a beautiful shade of Red,a very sexy sultry ultra glossy polish and again so easy to apply! The texture is nice and thick, one coat is fine, and no top coat needed. A great polish for the Christmas party season!

2true Pro Salon Shine Nail Polish

Ooh  I really do love this polish! 2 True Pro Metallica Nail Polish in Artemis.
This is a pretty chrome Lilac/purple finish with intense colour coverage.
I found this polish was super fast drying and thick in texture,
I found it not glossy but kinda matt looking.

On the accent nail is another glitter 2 True Pro Sequins Nail Polish in Elle.
This is such a pretty pink glittery sparkly polish. You can never have to much glitter!
again I found the formula very good not clumpy and easy to apply, dries pretty quick.
You can either use a base colour or just paint it straight on to your nails! 1 coat is fine.

2 True Pro Metallica Nail Polish
2True Pro Sequins Nail Polish

The last 2 products is another fabulous 2True Pro Metallica Nail Polish in Aglala
This is a nice minty silvery green colour.I like the texture and the look very simple to apply although it dries super fast so work quick as it can go gloopy on the nail if you dont have enough polish on the brush.
Other that that it is a good polish to have and would work well with dark colours.

On the accent nail is  2 True 3D Candy Nail beads in marine.
These are a dark blue and greeny blue coloured beads and very tiny.
Goshy these beads are tricky if you are not use to using them.I used a small container to catch any loose beads as I sprinkled them over my wet polished nail.
Then I applied a top coat from MUA after about 5mins to keep them in place.
then simply tidy around the nail for any stray beads.
I do like the look of these beads and I think they look really nice on the nail.I do recommend them as they are tricky but fun!
Go on give them ago! :)

Overall

So my friends overall I highly recommend 2True Nail Art products and Polishes! either for beginners or professional Nail artists.
The quality of the products is in my opinion better than some of the leading competitors!I I also find the price is excellent value for money.
Every girl should have 2 true in there nail collection :)

I want to also say  HUGE Thank you again to the wonderful Laura for supporting my blog and sending me some fabulous products to review!

Tropical sunset Nails!!

Hello friends,Hope you all well and good :)

I thought I would do my first Nail art post.

I did these nails a little while ago during the hot summer months! but autumn is upon us now.

Anyway I hope you like my design, here is how I created them.

First I gathered all the polishes and items I needed

then I started with the thumb false nails and took the  Ciate mini polish in yellow taxi
(This has seen better days! lol)

I started with doing an ombre by painting the yellow on to a make up sponge but
You can use absolutely any sponge - a make up sponge, washing up sponge or any other kind of sponge you can find.cut it to the length of your nail.

sponge lol

Start by painting across one strip of yellow then quickly add another stripe the 17 lasting fix in fairy cake
(I've seen better days also)

Then add quickly 17 lasting fix in grapefruit,
(ooh im clean lol)

Dab the sponge directly down on to your nail. Keep dabbing lightly and moving it very lightly up and down your nail.or roll it across to cover the nail.
(You can repeat this step as many times as you need to. Just make sure each layer is completely dry before sponging again otherwise you will start smudging the bottom layers and ruin the whole thing.)

When you have applied the last dab of colour from the sponge wait afew moments then apply a top coat to blend the colours, this will give the ombre effect.

Then the fun part...
I used this technic nail art polish with thin brush to create my palm trees.first I made a curve line on the corner of the nails.made it alittle thicker and then did some flicks of more curves from the top to make the palm branches, then I slightly made uneven lines on the branches(wiggly lines lol)
for the birds they was just a simple m shape, then I painted the sea on some of the nails.
I used BC body collection in Sapphire for the thumb nails,

then after it dried  I used the W7 in blue dazzle to give the sea alittle glitter :)

EtudeHouse Ice-cream nails in Blue mint,

Then I finished with a top coat from MUA.

And here is the finished look!

Thanks  for looking! I hope I've not bored you too much.lol
I will have some more designs for you soon :)
