  • Laval polish in Pastel Blue.
  • Rimmel polish in Spring Yellow.

I started with a base coat using the beautyuk pink lemonade polish I then took the make-up sponge and applied all the polishes (apart from the Barry M glitter)on to the sponge and dabbed it on to each nail I repeated this step 3 times.
Once almost dry I applied the top coat then I added the rhinestones to the pointer finger and ring and litter finger then gave it another top coat.
The thumb and middle finger I freehand drawn the dream-catcher using the marker pen then I stuck some beads and more rhinestones on for a sparkle effect.
gave them a top coat and all done.

Patchwork Nails!

Hello friends

I hope you all enjoyed the bank holiday weekend and your week has got off to a good start!

I decided to do something I haven't tried yet which I thought would be fun and I found this inspiration from my lovely friend Tracey her blog is  bite no more

Tracey loves her patchwork nails and I love them too! she does them so beautifully and I thought why not give it ago myself!

Recently I won a lot of beautyuk products and one of the products was a pack of nail polishes called Tropical pictured below along with other nail items I won!.
  • Beautyuk box set of polishes no.5 - tropical
  • Beautyuk Matte base & Top coat
  • Beautyuk polish in Coconut.
  • Dotting tool
  • Black marker pen.

I used all the polishes from the box set which was easy to use I had to use 2 coats on some shades as it was a little sheer but nice polish to work with.I used dotting tool.and used the marker pen for the stitching and the matte top coat to finish the look.
The top coat is fabulous for a matte base or finish and dries very fast I like the bottle size and the brush is easy to use and spreads the coat on well.

I hope you liked my patchwork nails!
Thanks for visiting my blog I really appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to comment if you do so thanks :)
More posts shortly. Have a wonderful week!

SassyLittleNails Charity of the month nail art

Hi friends

I have not done a post for a little while for my SassyLittleNails Charity of the month nail art so I have caught up on them and I have joined June and July's and August's Topics together and brought 2 worth while charities for you to have a look at to raise awareness and possible funds.

The first Charity is the month of June Mental health/Disabled.

I chosen a wonderful charity to support called Twinkle House

Making a difference to the lives of local Children and Young People with Disabilities and Additional Needs through their Charity work.
TWINKLE HOUSE SENSORY CENTRE

Providing rooms for hire to the public (non grant funded) and providing a sensory-based support service for children and young people with Disabilities and Additional Needs (part funded by The Big Lottery Reaching Communities Fund, Lloyds Bank  Foundation and John Moores Foundation).

Our rooms for hire include:
Hydrotherapy Pool, Large Light and Large Dark room available for hire by the hour for both adults or children and young people.
for more information and to donate please check the web site click HERE

I decided to copy the Twinkle House logo on to my nails to show my support in this charity and raise awareness.

The items used to create this nailart are listed below.

  •  Dotting tool.
  • Sequin Stars.
  • Technic nail art pen in Black.
  • Nailart pen in Pink.
  • NYC clear top coat.
  • Sinful Colors polish in Snow me white.
  • Perfect Holographic polish.
  • Tarastalons polish in Tiger lily.
  • Tarastalons polish in Fun House.
  • Hard Candy polish in Fabuluxe.
  • Barry M glitter polish E334.
  • Sinful Colors polish in Pinky Glitter.

I started with 2 coats of Sinful colors white base on the nails I then painted the ring finger with the Holo polish and the little finger with Tiger lily polish. I then went over the little finger with Fun house.
I stuck on some stars on the ring finger and on the thumb nail and pointer finger.
The pointer finger I painted the nail tip using Barry M glitter and the middle finger I used on the nail tip Pinky glitter.
The thumb I hand drawn the logo with the nailart pen and wrote the logo name with the pink pen.gave them all a top coat to seal and it is done.

Next up is the month of July and August Community Charities and Human Rights.
I have chosen a rather concerning and delicate topic for this prompt one concerning the awful crime of human trafficking.

I chosen this topic as I was watching Ross Kemp Extreme World documentary on TV one day and I was appalled and shocked just how bad Human trafficking is today.
Ross Ross Kemp talks about filming episode one of Extreme World 3 in which he comes face to face with a people trafficker in India, in this video commentary.click HERE

So the charity I chosen in relation to this topic is The Blue Heart Campaign.

The Blue Heart

The Blue Heart represents the sadness of those who are trafficked while reminding us of the cold-heartedness of those who buy and sell fellow human beings. The use of the blue UN colour also demonstrates the commitment of the United Nations to combating this crime against human dignity.
In the same way that the red ribbon has become the international symbol of HIV/AIDS awareness, this campaign aims to make the Blue Heart into an international symbol against human trafficking. By "wearing"the Blue Heart you will raise awareness of human trafficking and join the campaign to fight this crime.

Follow the Blue Heart

By following the Blue Heart you can change your Facebook profile picture to a Blue Heart, stay connected through Twitter or watch videos on human trafficking on YouTube. Get involved and support the Blue Heart Campaign virtually.
Or Click on there website for more information click e HERE

My nail art for this charity is there logo below is a picture and the items I used for this nail art.

  • Laval polish in Pastel Blue.
  • Technic polish in Black.
  • INM out the door top coat.
  • Pretty polish in Leather effect Black.
  • Blue glitter nailart pen.
  • Dotting tool.
  • Blue Caviar beads.
  • Blue Pearl beads.
  • Blue Rhinestones.

I started with painting the thumb and middle and little finger with the Technic black polish and painted the other nails with the leather effect nail polish.
I hand painted the blue glitter on to the little finger and took the pastel blue and used the dotting tool to paint on the heart on to the middle finger.
I then stuck the various beads rhinestones on to the over nails and topped it off with a top coat to seal it all.

I hope you liked my Charity nail art to support these charities and raise awareness for them both. please help all you can thank you.

FingerFood's Theme Buffet:Rainbow Chakra nails

Hi friends

Well I hope you all had a good week and are enjoying your weekend so far?
I have been unwell lately but trying to catch up on my blog posts/nail art I am a little late in posting my nailart for FingerFood's Theme Buffet: theme Rainbows

I decided to do a spiritual theme for this prompt Chakras

What is a Chakra?

In many spiritual and healing disciplines, and in the world of complementary medicine the words Chakra pops up quite a bit. That’s fine if you know it they meana; not so great, and I must say pretty confusing, if you don’t. Here’s our simple summary of the 7 Chakras that covers what a Chakra is, and what the Chakra System is all about?

The 7 Chakras are the energy centers in our body in which energy flows through.

The word ‘chakra’ is derived from the sanskrit word meaning ‘wheel’. Literally translated from the Hindi it means ‘Wheel of spinning Energy’. A chakra is like a whirling, vortex like, powerhouse of energy. Within our bodies you have seven of these major energy centres and many more minor ones.

You can think of chakras as invisible, rechargeable batteries.

They are charged and recharged through contact with the stream of cosmic energy in the atmosphere in much the same way that your home is connected to a central power source within a city – the only difference is that this cosmic energy source is free.

Here is a list below of the items I used to create my Chakra nailart.

  • Saffron glitter topper.
  • Tarastalons polish in No 186 (Holo)
  • Sinful colors polish in  Dream on.
  • Tarastalons polish in No 193.(purple)
  • Barry M Gelly polish in Blueberry.
  • Technic party brights polish in AYA NAPA.
  • Rimmel polish in Spring Yellow.
  • Tarastalons polish in Tigerlilly.
  • BeautyUK polish in Coral Burst.
  • Laval polish in White.
  • Make-up sponge.
  • Rhinestones
  • Marker pen in Black.

I started with the Tarastalons holo polish as a base for all the nails apart from the thumb nail.
I did a gradient effect on the thumb using a make-up sponge using some of the polishes above to make a rainbow gradient effect.
I then used the glitter topper to blend it all and then I hand drawn the Buddha's face with the marker pen.
I placed the Rhinestones down the centre of the ring finger and used the dotting tool to dot the Chakra colours down each nail. but to make the dotted colours pop I dotted the white polishes first then went over it with the colours.all done :)

I hope you enjoyed this post and my nailart.
more posts coming up shortly.
Please check out the wonderful manis below.
Hugs bye for now.
