Old Love notes nail art

Hi Friends
I have a Valentine's nail art for you today.
I called it Old Love notes nail art :)

Here is the items used to create this nail art.

  • Jess polish Hot Chocolate.
  • Benecos polish in Sandstorm.
  • Max Factor polish in Ruby Fruit.
  • Barry M Textured Effect nail polish in Countess.
  • MUA Clear top coat.
  • Disney nail art pens in Red and Pink.
  • Accurate nail art pen in Green.
  • Make-up sponge.
  • Newspaper cuttings.

I applied a base coat on all the nails using the Jess polish in Hot Chocolate.
I then painted onto the make-up sponge with the Benecos Sandstorm polish and I dabbed the sponge onto the centre of each nail then I went over the sponged area with the polish lightly brushed the centre for more coverage and the edges to be left sponged.
I used the Barry M polish on the nail tips and on some edges.
Once this is dry I then took the newspaper cuttings and dipped it into the small cup of water then placed over the nail and press for a few seconds then lift it off the nail.I repeated this for each nail using a new paper cutting.
I then used the Max factor polish for the rose bases in the corners of the nails.then using the nail art pens I filled in the rose petals and using the green did some leaves.used the top coat and it is complete.

I actually like how these turned out as I have never tried this newspaper effect before.
I think it gives it a good old fashioned look hehe.
I hope you liked my Old Love notes nail art.
