Products I've Used Up / Empties

Hello everyone.
I hope your week has got off to a good start?
I have a different kind of post for you today yes I have been saving up my empties for you to have a nosey what I have used up!

I have 3 cans of antiperspirant spray.
Garnier Mineral Invisible Calm Anti-Perspirant
Anti white marks + mineralite naturally absorbent
Skin breathes
No alcohol
Dermatologically tested
Double Action: Anti white marks and calming active.
48hr non stop protection against perspiration.

My views.
I liked this product and I found it did stop the white marks on tops etc.
My skin did feel like it could breath while wearing this spray.
The only negative comment I have is it did not keep me dry for a full 48 hours like it says but it did last most of the day.
I would re purchase this item again.
Overall 8/0

Nivea Stress Protect 48h Anti-Perspirant 250ml
Antibacterial formula, with zinc complex, fights body odour. Skin tolerance dermatologically approved. Without alcohol or colourants.

My views
I like the scent from this spray is very fresh.
I however did not think it helped keep me dry in any stressful daily life. nor did it last for 48 hours.
will not be re purchasing.
Overall 6/10

Impulse Tease Body Fragrance Spray 75ml
Play the game and keep them on their toes. Go on girls - tease. Impulse Tease Body Fragrance Spray: Irresistibly flirtatious.

My views
I have always loved this spray there is a lot of different scents you can choose from I think I have bought most of them over time but this one smells so nice and girly the scent lasts for a while great to pop in your bag.
will be repurchasing again.
Overall 9/10

(Tesco) Along Came Betty Foaming Face Wash.
(Description (from Tesco)
This Along Came Betty Foaming Lovely face wash is enriched with the skin conditioning super fruit Kakadu plum, vitamins E and C as well as coconut derived moisturisers, and will thoroughly cleanse for brighter, fresher and more radiant skin. It's time to dazzle.

My views
OMG I love this range from Tesco! I have tried most of them and love them all! the price is good and the products are fabulous.
It reminds me of the Soap and Glory range but this deserves it's own stamp of aproval as this is a great alternative.
I use this foam wash every day and it makes my face feel super clean and fresh and smells so lovely.can't go wrong with this it is one of my favs for sure.
already repurchased.
Overall 9/10

JOHNSON'S Face Care Hydrating 24 Hour Day Cream 50ml
JOHNSON'S Hydrating 24 Hour Day Cream with SPF 15 is enriched with essential skin loving minerals and vitamins, locking in moisture for 24 hours, leaving skin feeling soft and refreshed whilst providing an excellent base for make-up.

My views
I was using this cream during the winter months as my skin was a little dry from the cold weather.
I liked the smell and texture of this cream was not to thick and soaked in well.I would say it was a good base for make-up but most face creams are as it is important to wear moisturizer before putting on any foundation as this will act as a base anyway.
I found that once my dry skin settled I stopped using this product but would repurchase again for the winter time.
Overall 7/10

Rimmel Wake Me Up Make Up Foundation
Rimmel Wake Me Up Make Up Foundation Light, moisturising texture applies smoothly and leaves skin feeling soft and comfortable all day. Gives an instant flawless, natural-looking finish.Wake Up & Glow!

My views
I have been using this foundation on and off now for a while. I have the shade soft beige which wasn't the correct shade for my skin but I used it anyway and toned it down a little with bronzing powder and my normal face powder as I mainly used this around the summer time as this foundation is good for dry skin I would not really recommend this foundation for oily to combination skin types. as I found this to look slightly oily around my T zone after a few hours and the blotting paper is needed.
I will repurchase this again in my correct shade for the summer. Overall 7/10

Next is 3 empty packs of facial wipes.

Nivea Daily Essential Refreshing Cleansing Wipes
Nivea Daily Essential Refreshing Cleansing Wipes are free from alcohol and enriched with Lotus Extract & Vitamins conveniently cleanse your face, eye area and neck while respecting your skin&rsquos natural moisture balance

My views
I liked these facial wipes I tend to use wipes as the first step in removing my make-up.
The wipe is thick with moisture so you can rub the wipe over the face a few times and still feel moisture being applied to the skin to cleanse. Honestly they do make your skin feel refreshed too.
I used about 2 sheets to take my make-up off fully including my eye make-up.
They smell fresh and pleasant good choice to use if they are on offer.
would repurchase if on special offers.  Overall 8/10

Olay Essentials Cleansers Gentle Cleansing Sensitive Wipes - 20 wipes
Lift away dirt and make-up without leaving a residue on the skin. The dirt is lifted away, leaving behind rich Olay moisturisers to soften and nourish the skin.

My views
I love these facial wipes! These wipes are white in colour and thick in material so very robust.
Unlike some face cleansers I have used, these do not dry out when the packet is in use  the wipes did well in removing my make-up and waterproof mascara.
so easy to use and really cleanses the face and leave it nice and clean and fresh.
I would say though that these are not necessarily to be used as an alternative to a normal skin care routine as, no matter how hard you try, they don't remove every trace of make-up. I would advise using a face wash as well after using these.
I would repurchase Overall 8/10

T-Zone Shine Control Facial Cleansing Wipes
T-Zones Shine Control Cleansing Wipes have been specially formulated to:
•Effectively remove the excess oil, grease and bacteria that can cause spots
• Reduce shine
• Cleanse, tone and protect in one, leaving great looking skin
• Remove makeup instantly
• Guard against over-dry skin

My views
I did like these wipes even though I am 38 years young I still suffer with a greasy t-zone at times and the odd zit which is why I bought them!
They not only are meant to effectively remove make-up but also keep your face shine free and help keep spots at bay as well! I found that these wipes helped with my t-zone from the oiliness.
These wipes are white in colour and thick in material so very robust.
good product would repurchase again Overall 7/10

Batiste Dry Shampoo Cherry - Fruity & Cheeky 200ml
Batiste Dry Shampoo Fruity & Cheeky Cherry banishes oily roots, giving dull, lifeless hair the makeover it needs without any water. A quick burst revitalises hair, adds body and texture and leaves it feeling clean and fresh too.

My views
I love love love this product range! I have been using these for a while now. this dry shampoo is great to use in between washing great for using in the morning to refresh my hair and it cuts out grease and leaves lovely scent,
It can leave a white talc residue on the hair/roots if you do not rub it in well enough but this isn't really an issue for me with having blonde hair, however you can buy one for darker hair in this range.
Great for creating volume , controlling fly away hair and the smell is delicious!
I will purchase it again! Overall 9/10

For the hands and nails.
Cutex Nourishing Nail Polish Remover 100ml
This Nourishing Nail Polish Remover from Cutex, especially formulated for weak nails, removes stubborn nail polish stains whilst also nourishing your nails and whitening your tips.

My views
I have been using this product now for a few months and I love it! I will not use any other nail polish remover!
This is the best one in my opinion!
It has a pleasant smell unlike most polish removers. it has like a sweet smell.
It removes several layers of polish quickly and cleanly. It is moisturising and never leaves my nails dried out or stained.  I've noticed an overall improvement in the condition of my nails since using this product.
I totally recommend it! I will purchase it again! Overall 10/10

Derma Intensive+ Ultra protecting hand & nail balm (Tesco)
Q10 Derma Intensive + Ultra protecting hand & nail balm has been specially developed to help provide instant relief for dry hands. Coenzyme Q10 helps the skin to repair and protect is natural beauty. The Glycerin enriched formulation helps to soften and condition the skin without greasiness or residue.

My views
This hand and nail balm is a really great product!  I spotted the derma intensive hand and nail balm in Tesco and thought I would give it a try seeming as it has the Q10 that helps repair skin. the cream is not overly greasy and doesn't leave a residue on your hands once it has soaked in.
It  helped soften my hands for a few hours and not 24hours as it states and is easily absorbed, the scent is like a baby lotion smell which isn't bad.
I found it did keep my hands soft and cuticles but did not really help repair them.but I did like the overall feeling to my hands so for that I would repurchase
Overall 7/10

Collection Nail Care 12ml Nail Bright polish
COLLECTION Nail Bright is an instant whitener for a natural finish. The polish brightens dull, stained nails and minimises yellowing. Active ingredients in the formula smooth the cuticle and nail surface while added ceramides add flexibility to weak nails. Apply 2 coats for a perfect manicured finish.

My Views
This is one of my favorites for nail whitening.I really do like this product and after the first application I noticed a good difference in the whiteness of my nails.
It also helped clear away polish staining and yellowing it gave a natural finish and looks pretty to wear alone or as a base coat.
I will be repurchasing this again. Overall 9/10

FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Something New!

Hey friends
I hope you all had a great week and weekend?
Today's post is The FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Something New!

I decided to give the Jelly sandwich technique a go as I have never tried and thought it would be simple and fun to do.

The Jelly sandwich is basically just a sheer polish (with a few coats) then a glitter polish then the sheer polish over the glitter layer.

  •  Sinful Colors polish in Bubbly 563.
  • W7 glitter polish in Bronze Debris 131.
  • O.P.I polish in Too Hot Pink to Hold em.
  • W7 glitter polish in Multi Dazzle 116.
  • NYC top coat.

I started with the Sinful colors on all nails but not the ring finger.
I gave them a few coats at least 4.
The ring finger I used the O.P.I polish and gave about 4 coats.
Once fully dry I then used the W7 glitter in Bronze Debris over the Sinful colors and then used the W7 glitter Multi Dazzle over the ring finger.
again once dry fully I went back over the nails with the Sinful Colors and went over the ring finger with the O.P.I.
I waited for the nails to dry and used a top coat to Finnish simple.

I will have more posts coming up soon!

FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Gothic

Hi lovely friends

It is that time again for FingerFood's Theme Buffet - Gothic.

I had to do a quick mani for this challenge as I did'nt have a lot of time however I managed it and here is the pic and items I used.

  • Revlon polish in Mistletoe.
  • NYC polish in Sidewalkers.
  • Pretty polish leather effect in Black.
  • Max Factor polish in Ruby fruits.
  • INM out the door top coat.
  • Make-up sponge.
  • Rhinestones
  • 3D stickers gold cross.
  • Caviar bead in Black.
  • Silver nail art chain.

I decided to do a gradient effect for this mani by using 3 polishes,I used the NYC polish as a base for all the nails then I waited for it to dry I then painted the Leather effect Black polish on the top then the middle the Revlon polish then the NYC polish at the bottom.
I repeated this  step a few times until I was happy with the coats.
I then used the clear polish top coat and then while the top coat was tacky I placed the Silver chain on the thumb nail along with the Rhinestones for the cross.
I then painted the pointer finger with the top coat and placed the chain and rhinestones on that finger.
I painted some blood stains deep dark red polish for the middle finger.
The ring finger I used the Caviar beads and the 3D cross stuck them on with the top coat.
I then painted a star symbol on the little finger applied another top coat to seal everything and all done :)

SassyLittleNails Charity nail art of the month! ROWW

Hi Friends
I have been late in posting this month's SassylittleNails charity of the month nail art.

I decided to dedicate this nail art to the late Hollywood Actor Paul Walker.
Paul was famous for lots of blockbuster films including The Fast& Furious Which was my favorite.

"When you put good will out there it's amazing what can be accomplished." - Paul Walker, Reach Out WorldWide Founder

Paul Walker took a simple idea and made it a reality by creating Reach Out WorldWide (ROWW). Four years later Reach Out WorldWide has evolved into something special.

Reach Out WorldWide is a network of professionals with first responder skills, including doctors, nurses, firefighters, paramedics, construction specialists, heavy equipment operators, and other disaster-survival specialists, who understand that a fast response makes the difference between life and death. These professionals have put their “boots on the ground” domestically and worldwide, to immediately fulfill the unmet need in times of chaos, tragedy, and destruction.

“Paul wasn’t someone who would just write a check and lend his name to an organization; he was the heart and soul of Reach Out WorldWide. Paul was the first one in and the last one out, he led by example and his hard work and dedication inspired everyone who had the privilege of working with him. He led one of the first teams into the hardest hit areas of Haiti and traveled to Chili to bring water, medical aid and hope after the Earthquake and Tsunami. He ran a chainsaw clearing debris and helping people get back into their homes during the hottest days after the tornadoes in Alabama… Some people play a hero, Paul was a hero. Paul was an honorable, hardworking, dedicated, respectful man with a humble spirit who shared his blessings with those who needed it most. It was an honor and a privilege to be able to work with, learn and look up to someone who walked the walk.” - JD Dorfman, Reach Out Worldwide

Paul Walker was truly an amazing person and his impact will be forever felt. As the ROWW family mourns the loss of our founder, leader, brother and friend we pledge to carry out his dream of helping those when they need it most. Paul's legacy and good will lives on through ROWW.

My Nail art in support of ROWW.

Items I used below.
  • Acrylic paints Black and White.(not pictured)
  • NYC polish in Pinstripe White.
  • Technic polish in Black.
  • Rhinestones in Silver and Black.
  • Glitter top coat.(not pictured)
  • INM out the door top coat.

I started painting the pointer finger with the ring and little finger all White. then I painted the middle finger Black.I gave them all at least2 coats of polish.
I then used the glitter on the middle finger once dry I then used the clear top coat while tacky I placed the Rhinestones on each nail spelling the ROWW charity.

I then started with my Acrylic paints on the Thumb nail to create Pauls face portrait.
This was very difficult for me as doing something on a small scale is not easy I made some mistakes but I didn't give up! it took me ages to complete this but I was finally happy with the end result.I finished this with a top coat.

Paul had such a handsome face and a beautiful soul.I hope I re captured this in my painting.

I hope you liked my Charity nail art to support ROWW and raise awareness for this wonderful charity. please help all you can thank you.

A day at the Beach - Summer Beach Nails

Hello my lovely friends!
Sorry I have not posted for a few days but I have been super busy and looking after my Hubby Ste after his eyes surgery he is recovering well now and he is doing great :)

Today I have a nail art challenge post A day at the Beach - Summer Beach Nails
A day at the Beach - Summer Beach Nails
A day at the Beach - Summer Beach Nails
A day at the Beach - Summer Beach Nails
A day at the Beach - Summer Beach Nails
A day at the Beach - Summer Beach Nails
hosted by style those nails challenges

I decided to re-create this mani of a beach-shore I cannot remember who created this or where I seen it online somewhere however I liked it and so here is my version.

Items I used for this Beach design.
  • INM out the door top coat.
  • Revlon polish in Orange Pop.
  • Laval polish in Pastel Blue.
  • Sally Hansen polish in Shocking Nude.
  • NYC polish in Pinstripe White.
  • Saffron glitter topper in color 04.
  • Maybelline polish in Aqua.
  • Star & Shells studs & Pearl studs.
  • Shell broken coloured pieces.
  • Make-up Sponge.
  • Bowl of water.
  • Cheap Perfume scent spray.

I used the Nude polish and the Laval polish on a sponge and did the top of the nail in Nude and the rest in the blue I repeated this a few times on all nails apart from the first pointer finger. I used the Nude for all of that nail.

Once dry I then took the bowl of water and dropped in a few drops of White polish and then spray it with the scent spray to get the foam sea effect I placed each nail in to the bowl when I took the nail out I then went over the Blue with the Aqua polish for a shimmer look.

I touched up any Nude and then went over it with the Saffron Glitter for a sparkly look.
For the pointer finger I then stuck on some broken shell pieces on the nail tip I then took the Revlon polish and painted a starfish and went over it with the Glitter polish.
I placed the studs on the nails with using the top coat and that is complete.

I hope you enjoyed this nail art!
Thanks for stopping by.
