FingerFood's Theme Buffet -Oriental

Hello dear friends
I have been a busy bee this past week just a quick update I am pleased to say my Husband Ste had an eye check up at the hospital this week to see his specialist and the Doctor told us the surgery Ste had a few weeks ago to repair the eye muscles was a complete success!
Not only that but it has also helped improve his sight and no further treatment for this is needed! we are really pleased about this news.

Now on to this weeks FingerFood's Theme Buffet -Oriental which was my idea for this theme.:)

I decided to get my Acrylic paints out again and try another face portrait of the famous and wonderful man Bruce Lee,
Bruce was an American-born Chinese Hong Kong martial artist, philosopher, instructor, martial arts actor and the founder of the Jeet Kune Do combat form. He is widely regarded as the most influential martial artist of the twentieth century and a cultural icon.

I am a big fan of Bruce Lee and his martial arts and his philosophy on life.
I thought I would paint this nail art as a tribute to him and his wonderful work he achieved before he sadly passed away in July 20th 1973. you can find out more about Bruce Lee on his official website HERE.

I used various mixes of Acrylic paints for this along with the chinese symbols and writings.
First finger means Strength/power.
Middle finger is the Yin and yang symbol.
The ring finger is Karma.
The little finger is number 7.lucky number.

I loved doing this manicure.

I hoped you enjoyed my Oriental Bruce Lee nail art.

  1. Cool. I do like Bruce Lee a lot. In fact I'm a HUGE Hong Kong cinema fan and have been for many years now. My husband has being doing Martial Arts (Kung Fu and Tai Chi) for a long time and really admires Bruce Lee, his style and philosphy too.

That's good news about your husband, I used to work in an opticians so I know how hard these things can be. Eyesight is so precious.
