Giveaway Time!!! yes on Monday 1st June I will be hosting a giveaway with a lovely prize up for grabs but until then Todays post is inspired by a satin fabric I have which is so pretty and spring time like.

I have listed the items I used for this nailart below.

  • BeautyUK polish in White.
  • TarasTalons indie polish in Sugary sweet.
  • Barry M top coat.
  • Barry M silks polish in Blossom.
  • Sharpies in Green and Pink.
  • Zoya polish in Daisy.
  • Dotting tool.
I started with a white base on all nails. then I gave them 2 coats of the Zoya polish and used the Barry M silk polish on the ring finger.
Once dry I then took my dotting tool and made some petal flowers shapes like on the fabric using the pinks. I then took the Green sharpie and did some stems with leaves. I then took the pink sharpie and outlined some of the flower petals.gave them all a top coat and done!

Indian Saree dress fashion inspired nailart

Hi lovely friends
I hope your week is going well.
I was searching through Pinterest the other day and came across some nailart inspired by catwalk/fashion so it gave me an idea to try this myself!
I spotted a beautiful Indian Saree dress in a ombre yellow with a hint of peach/cream and sparkly silver circles/diamantes.

I have listed the items below of the items used for this fashion inspired nailart

  • BeautyUK polish in white.
  • Moyou polish in yellow.
  • Rimmel polish in spring yellow.
  • Manhattan polish (light yellow)
  • BeautyUK polish in Lets hit the peach.
  • Revlon polish in Pale cashmere.
  • L&B glitter polish in silver.
  • Saffron polish Holographic glitter.
  • Saffron clear top coat.
  • Holographic clear rhinestones and silver.Dotting tool.
  • 2 makeup sponges.
I started with a white base on all nails. then I applied all 3 yellow polishes to the sponge and appled to each nail apart from the middle finger.
I did this step about 3 times until I was happy.
I then took the glitter polish and applied it thinly to the pointer and ring finger. I also used the dotting tool to add some dots on the nails.
I then added the rhinestones to the nails.
The middle finger I took the inspiration from the saree jewel on the ladies shoulder.
I used rhinestones for this but before I applied the rhinestones I applied the peach and the cream polishes on to a sponge and applied to the middle finger 3 times then when dry I applied the rhinestones. gave the nails a top coat.

Hope you enjoyed my fashion inspired  nail art! Thanks for reading more posts coming up shortly!

Stained glass effect nailart.

Hello friends

I hope the sun is shinning wherever you are and your day is as bright!

Today I have a fun easy to do nailart to share with you. perfect for summer!

I thought I might try doing a glass stain design nailart.

Here are the items I used to create this.

  • Vivien kondor polish in matte white.
  • Vivien Kondor polishes in Neon Pink. Neon yellow. Neon green.
  • Barry M polish in Countess.
  • Sharpie in black.
  • Dotting tool.
  • BeautyUK ultra gloss top coat.
I started with the pink Neon on the pointer finger then I took the yellow and used it on the little finger. I then used the black marker to make lines across the middle and ring and thumb nail. I used the dotting tool to carefully fill in the pieces in between the lines.once dry I then  went over the lines using the dotting tool with the Barry M polish added a top coat all done!
The neon pink has come out more orange/pink in the photo I could not get the lighting right sorry folks.

I will have more nail art coming up very soon! Please follow my blog if you haven't already,
Thank you :)

Organic Surge products review! Organic Surge loves my skin!

Hi Friends
I hope you had a lovely weekend!
I did some boring stuff like mowing the grass and housework!
Anyway I have been busy lately with reviews and todays post is all about Organic Surge products 2 in fact.
Organic Surge Radiance Recovery Night Cream Enriched with Safflower Oil
50ml and Organic Surge Lavender Meadow Hand & Nail Cream.
Organic Surge is a brand with a conscience, providing natural & organic skin, hair & body care products.you can check out  the website click HERE.
I will start with the night cream.

Organic Surge Radiance Recovery Night Cream Enriched with Safflower Oil
50ml
Description
For normal to dry or mature skin

Organic Surge's Extra Care range features natural creams, moisturisers and lotions that will nourish your skin and enhance timeless beauty. Our new Radiance Recovery natural Night Cream is intensive and nourishing, without feeling heavy on the skin. This organic cream boasts a rich blend of natural moisturisers to nourish, replenish and protect your skin whilst you sleep.

Including Safflower oil, an ingredient known to help smoothe and soothe dry skin, as well as various other powerful botanical extracts, this natural cream will help hydrate and protect your skin from environmental damage.

This velvety cream is designed for night time use to condition and replenish the skin while the body rests.

My thoughts
Since my skin is so dry lately I couldn't wait to try this!
I applied my normal night skin routine and when it was time for moisturizer I applied this. It felt so creamy and sank into my skin really well. It smelt like roses which was so nice and girly.
The scent went away and was not to strong.
Its a thin cream but goes a long way and hydrated my skin.
My skin felt baby soft and moisturized.I immediately felt that my skin felt less taut and dry, and moisturised and relaxed, I think it will benefit dry skin and combination because
its not a rich cream so oily skin types will like this cream.
Over the weeks my dry areas on my face have almost gone, I noticed the texture on my skin was very smooth and soft and my skin felt like it was very hydrated.
I have been really surprised at the difference to my last night cream. Skin feels much better in the morning, well moisturised. Would definitely recommend.
Organic Surge Lavender Meadow Hand & Nail Cream.
Description
For All Skin Types
Lavender Meadow Hand & Nail Cream has an intensive moisturising action and is quickly-absorbed to provide comfort and hydration. Enriched with organic lavender and geranium essential oils, and moisturising vitamin E, shea butter and cocoa butter, our hand cream works to prevent moisture loss leaving hands comforted and softened.
My Thoughts
Great product with great hydrating abilities  It actually smells like lavender as it contains the essential oil unlike many others.it smells pleasant and is kind and calming to the skin..Very aromatic lasts a while.
A light and easily absorbed texture that does not leave your hands greasy or sticky at all.
I find carrying this hand cream with me helps to keep me relaxed and focused, as well as nourishing my skin. It is also an excellent foot cream.
the price is really good too for the quality of the product.
I highly recommend this product

Many thanks to Organic Surge for sending the items for review!

Charlie's nailart netting review.

Hi friends

I hope you are having a good day so far?
I have another product review for you today from Charlie's nailart.

I was sent some nailart netting in White.

Items used to create this nailart are listed below.
  • Perfect Holographic polish in pink.
  • Perfect holographic polish in color 4.
  • Perfect holographic polish in silver.
  • Tarastalons holographic polish(dark blue)
  • Barry M polish in Coconut.
  • Dotting tool.
  • Makeup sponge.
  • Charlies nailart netting.
Now I will admit that I have never tried using netting on nails before and I could not get the hang of it with regards to using the net as a stencil.
Sooo that being said I used the netting on the nail.

I started with  the thumb using the pink holo polish then the pointer finger I tried to do a ombre using all 3 holo polishes.
The middle finger I used the Tarastalons holo polish then when slightly tacky I carefully placed the netting over the nail and trimmed it to size.
The ring finger I gave 2 coats of the Coconut polish then used the dotting tool and holo polish to create dots.
The little finger I used the tarastalons polish.  all done!

You can keep up to date with Charlies nailart offers and new products on Facebook. Twitter. Instagram.

Please do leave your comments I love to read them!
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great week!

A bargain makeup brush cleaning tool!

Hey friends
How are we all doing?
I thought I would share a little bargain find with you!
I was recently browsing on Ebay and I came across a tool to help you clean your make-up brushes!
It is called a BrushEgg made of high quality silicone it reduces the use of Brush Cleaning Solution (which dries out bristles)
I use any shampoo I do prefer one that is gentle like baby shampoo.
The smaller knobs on top is used for Foaming & Lathering - Grooves on bottom used to agitate bristles just enough to release product, dirt, and oils without stripping them
The smaller knobs are also ideal for smaller eye brushes (Fan, Liner, Smudge, Pencil) for extra gentle lathering and releasing of dried on products. Especially waterproof mascara and liner! It removes every bit of dirt and leaves them super clean!
I do have to say that it makes cleaning brushes a breeze now and I don't dread the chore as much as I used to.

I always clean my brushes once a week 2 at most! I sit at the sink with a small bowl of shampoo ready and a towel to lay my brushes flat.and a small hand towel to gently squeeze the access water from each brush.

I start with wetting each brush tip in warm water only! never get the handle wet because that will loosen the glue holding the bristles together.
I then dab the brush into the shampoo and then lather it up on the brushegg keep going back into the water and then the brushegg until the suds go clear white then rinse and squeeze onto the towel using your thumb and pointer finger to squeeze the brush tip together gently to get any access water out then leave the brush to dry naturally.
If your brushes feel a little rough then add a small amount of conditioner after the shampoo rinse clear it will make your brush feel soft again!

I absolutely love this product!and it was only 99p! so easy to find online either at Ebay or Amazon! and what a bargain compared to the more expensive Sigma Beauty Brush Cleaning Glove, which can set you back around £35 £40! that is just ridiculous money to pay for a brush cleaning tool!
I hope you enjoyed reading this post!
Let me know if you have tried this product?
have a lovely day!
